Welcome to Morning Grind where we push the limits of an ordinary coffee shop creating a unique caffeinated experience. We are a student-led coffee cart that strives to provide customers with exceptional espresso and customer service while aiming to provide quality and novelty with every visit. Founded by Justin Heacock through Florida Southern’s Center for Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, this experiential learning lab initiative allows our team of students to expand their acquired knowledge and skills outside of the classroom to learn how to start and operate a business. Our team of 8 students stems from 7 different majors all across campus. Through this holistic style of learning, our team of students gain industry knowledge and experience that helps shape them into the future entrepreneurs and leaders of tomorrow. In addition to your baristas, our students manage the processes of Marketing, Product Development, Inventory & Supply, Accounting, and External Relations & Partnerships. 

Adjacent to Lake Hollingsworth, just outside the Becker Business Building, we offer locally sourced espresso from Concord Coffee and loose-leaf tea from Color Theory Tea.
